#ManiMonday with Impress Manicure*
It's well known that I'm a terrible nail biter - it's only recently that I've allowed my fingernails to grow out. I've used different press-on nails before and they were completely subpar in comparison to these ones. ImPRESS Manicure was nice enough to send me a couple samples and I couldn't be happier!
This is how my nails started out! You can't really notice it but the only reason my nails even made it to this length is because I wore acrylics for over 2 months. As most of us know, acrylics are not very nice to natural nails so my nails are pretty brittle and thin. Which makes regular nail glue a no-go for me and the adhesive they use even better than I expected!
Gotta say though, I loved the colors! On the left is a completely matte nude nail with these super sparkly accent nails while the right is the complete opposite: super glossy and a dark reddish-brown color. With fall coming up, I opted for the red ones and sat down to put them on.
Surprisingly enough, they went on super quickly! All I had to do was peel the adhesive backing off and pop them right on my fingers! Wham bam thank you ma'am, no mess just press! I think the part that was the hardest was trying to find matching sizes for the ones that fit my fingers. Protip: if you want to use the embellishments that come with the nails, put them on the nail BEFORE you put the nail on your finger. Trust me.
Now the recommended time to wear these nails is less than a week, so I wore them for about 5 days before I decided to remove them. I have to say the nails stayed REALLY good. The adhesive is super strong and lasted through washing dishes, showers, fixing computers, and my A/C breaking. Upon removal, they didn't damage my natural nail at all, and by that time were super easy to remove.
Best part though - retail these nails are only $7.99 and you can pick them up at your local drugstore (Walgreens/Target/Walmart)!

That's good to know. I assumed something like this might damage my nails more than they already are. I don't bite them but I pick at them and peel them all the time.

Mine are sooooo flaking and thin from the acrylics so I was really happy when they didn't take the nails I've managed to grow with them when I took them off!

I'm always unsure when looking and purchasing press on nails. But, they look beautiful on you. I definitely need to just get these a try soon!

Yeah I've always been unsure in the past just because I've always been a terrible nail biter - but now that I've managed to grow some I'm even more unsure! You should def try them because I actually really liked them.
